What to expect when you visit Meadow Heights...
Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:
What time do services start and how long do they last?
- Sunday morning services start at 10:30am and generally last an hour. The messages are always recorded and uploaded, so check out the :sermons" menu option for a preview. Our service are a blend of traditional hymns and choruses, accompanied by piano and organ, and contemporary music led by our praise band, Yield.
- Sunday school starts at 9:15am on Sundays and runs until around 10:15am, for all ages (nursery through senior adults). We have coffee, tea and donuts in the lobby from 8:30am on, if that's too early to eat something before you come.
- Sunday evening services start at 6pm and run exactly an hour, which now includes nursery, G4 kids and G4 Youth.
- On Wednesday evenings, our bible study program runs about an hour.
What is the dress code?
There really isn't one. People generally wear what makes them comfortable. That means anything from shorts and jeans to khakis or casual dresses to "Sunday best" suits and dresses.
Do you have accommodations for younger children?
We offer nursery care for bed babies up through age four on Sunday mornings and evenings. We offer children's programs for all ages on Sunday mornings during Sunday School, have children's activity bags to use during the 10:30 am service, and offer Sunday evening children's programs (G4 Kids and youth) during the same time as our evening service. Our lobby has the service audio available if you need to step out for a few minutes as well. All our nursery, children and youth workers are background checked and have been trained to keep your child's safety our highest priority.
Where should I park?
We have plenty of available parking on our lot, along with several parking spots for visitors, but people are also welcome to park along Claremont street as well. There is no parking allowed on California street. Greeters are stationed at our main doors off of the circle drive to direct you once you arrive. They will likely hand you a bulletin of the service events and other activities going on in the church that week.
